With Love, comes the responsibility to always conduct ourselves in a Loving manner, which is why we can know through both Faith and reason, that any act, including any sexual act, that does not respect the inherent personal and relational Dignity of the human person, who is, in essence, not an object of sexual desire/inclination/orientation, but a beloved son or daughter, is not and can never be an act of Love.Only The Truth of Love can set us free.

I hear what Simper Fi is saying, and I value that my own marriage of 30 years has always been legal, divinely blessed and culturally accepted. And I agree that "the constitution says we do as we please with our freedoms just as long as those freedoms do not harm your neighbor."Yet I am not harmed by a marriage between people of different races (though any such marriages clearly offended my parents), or between people of different religions (though my grandparents thought it was a travesty for a Jew to marry a Christian). My adult daughters‘ marriages won‘t be harmed by marriages of gay people. In fact, my own marriage seems to be doing just fine, even though my state has been marrying same-sex couples for a few years now. Gun rights offend me and I think guns harm my city. (In fact, my police department is also dead-set against any relaxation of gun control.) But some such freedoms we just have to get used to, ‘cause they‘re the law even if they‘re not popular around here. So we do. Rights are more important than touchy feelings. Likewise, I hope those who are offended by same-sex couples acting too normal, or living too fully equal, will just get used to it. I‘d even say that is already happening; polls say that ever fewer people object to gay marriage anymore. The upside is, it won‘t actually make any of our marriages one bit worse.

I love that we have a constitution that is written in simple words by wise old men, who did not intend for its reading to be complicated, yet we have to listen to the BS legislators give us their creative interpretations of the laws. Freedom is precious our liberties are at risk, but the constitution says we do as we please with our freedoms just as long as those freedoms do not harm your neighbor, common law. Marriage is for a man and a woman. No offense to homosexuals that is not what i am trying to do is offend anyone, just enlighten, just because one group of people have a way of enjoying their freedoms does not necessarily entitled you to those same freedoms, because if it harms your neighbor, and that is what is going on her by making a mockery of the sanctimony of marriage that was made for man and woman. Homosexuals could have simply created their own version of marriage, but instead you rather offend because of all the hardships close minded people put you through. I am sorry for that but it did not entitled you to harm the freedoms of your neighbors. This is the sign that our Country has become nothing more than a joke for the world to see. Like Rome fell from Decadence and corruption so will we. Good luck people
