A Washington federal appeals court on Friday rejected the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's attempt to investigate an embattled accreditor of for-profit colleges, upholding a trial judge’s ruling that faulted the Obama-era agency for straying outside its jurisdiction.

    Like many government agencies and departments, the CFPB overstepped its authority. The Trump Administration has sent word to all departments, agencies, and divisions to cut costs and lower their thirst for taxpayer money. This is another alphabet government entity that needs to have its budget lowered and maybe it will not overstep as much.

    I think the lawlessness is on the other side of the dock. The CFPB‘s success speaks volumes against your wish to have the banks and other moneylenders bludgeon the consumer.
