Actually, Judge Kopf, your sentencing instincts were ironically dead on, so that we are left to wonder whether Hopwood would have ever gotten the opportunity to cut his teeth in the law as a jailhouse lawyer, were it not for his incarceration. Then too, as the saying goes, "God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform." Thank you for the positive outcome of your sentencing, made possible by your concern for the protection of the lives and property of others and your respect for law, order and justice.
