, The National Law Journal

DLA Piper is laying off 80 associates in its U.S. offices. The majority of the associates are in its corporate finance and real estate practices, said chairman Francis Burch Jr. The international law firm also is cutting loose of about 100 staffers stateside. Today's announcement followed the firm's decision earlier in the week to let go of 30 attorneys and 110 staffers in its U.K. offices.
