Jaret Davis | Greenberg Traurig

The National Law Journal

As the co-managing partner of Greenberg Traurig's Miami office — which happens to be the single largest law office in Florida — 36-year-old Jaret Davis oversees a few attorneys who are more than twice his age. Davis' relative youth could easily create an awkward management dynamic if not for his efforts to downplay his authority and emphasize teamwork. "You really have to have the right perspective going in, and bring a service approach to the job," he said. "I look at it as, 'I'm a resource for them.' The ultimate asset a leader can have is for people to know that everything you do is with an eye toward improving."
