Congrats on finishing your first marathon. Not sure why you were disappointed after such a huge achievement. If you choose to do more of them, my bet is you'll do better as you utilize all the knowledge you gained in your first one.

My triathlon coach says 1/3 of so of his clients are lawyers (he says lawyers typically have high pain thresholds). If we apply all we've learned in our training and competing to rainmaking (there are many analogs), my guess is we can follow your recommendations and improve our performances in client finding and the care and feeding of them as well. So which would you rather do: take a client to lunch and then follow up or run 26 miles?
