I hope that the comments so far have not been written by lawyers who should be more informed about the United States Constitution and its guarantees.

The only thing cruel and inhuman was when Lockett raped and murdered a 19-year old girl. So what if it took 10 minutes for him to die?

  • ColorBlindJustice

The heinous murderer Locket is dead, isn‘t he? So why are we calling this a "botched" execution? If activists are upset by the rare problems with lethal injection, they should join me in advocating a return to the always promptly effective firing squad.

  • Kim

No sympathy. I think they should be executed the same way they killed their victims. He had no concern of the victim while she was in pain and suffering when being burield alive. America is getting too easy on these disgusting people. An eye for an eye.
