Andrew Miller, a law student at George Washington University, defended Baker McKenzie partner John Rowley when he was assaulted last month in Washington, D.C. That heroic act helped Miller land a summer associate job at the firm this summer.

    Shocked by the racist comment below. Violence is committed in almost every culture by all colors, and urban blacks are victims as much as (if not moreso than) they may be perpretrators.

    Sorry, one relevant detail [probably] omitted . . . "a group of five or six [black] juveniles" . . . the sooner we all admit that urban black culture is a cancer upon America, and not something to be admired, accepted or tolerated, the sooner we can take steps to treat it.
