    One required a strong stomach in reading all of this trendy political correctness. The idea of a client thinking it is entitled to involve itself in the internal administration and personnel policies of a law firm is simply unacceptable. A client like this - regardless how many fees it generates - is trouble with a capital "T" and should be politely encouraged to look elsewhere for representation. Advancing "diversity" by quota systems for judicial clerkships is even more egregious. It would be refreshing of the Brahmins of our profession in the elite law firms would develop a little backbone instead of falling over themselves trying to be more trendy than their competitors.
