In the biggest jury verdict in agency history, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on May 1 won a $240 million award in a disability discrimination suit brought on behalf of 32 men with intellectual disabilities.

    ... its not malpractice if your client has no hook to hang its "hat" on! Supervision, assignment, paychecks, w-2's . . . not sure how you'd win the "not me" argument with those facts.

    This is a wonderful judgement... Penalize the company enough to create large layoffs and threaten their viability. That will surly help everyone who works there. It appears that if the activities of the supervisors who committed these acts of violence against the defendants should have gone to jail.... Trust me, that would send a much more endearing message. But instead, let's penalize everyone. It's only big business and after all we know corporations aren't people. I'm sure the people who actually committed these heinous acts were fired. Again, they should be in jail!
