Great article. Hats off to frank quattrone. IT IS GREAT THAT HE IS SUPPORTING THE INNOCENSE PROJECT, AND FINNANCING CRIMINAL JUSTICE RESEACH. WE DEFINITLY NEED HELP WITH THIS JUSTICE SYSTEM, LONG OVER DUE.THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE IN OUR SYSTEM THAT SHOULDNT BE THEREIN THE FIRST PLACE,ONE OF MANY PROBLEMS IS THAT THE DA OFFICE GOES OVER AND BEYOND TO GET A CONVICTION, THERE R PEOPLE CONVICTED ON CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE, WRONG IDENITY, BAD REPRESENTATION TO NAME JUST A FEW.
GOING THROUGH THE APPEAL SYSTEM IS VERY DIFFICULT,TIMELY AND COSTLY. AND WHAT ABOUT CASES WERE DNA CAN NOT BE USED.
I THINK THAT THE BEST PEOPLE TO GET INPUT FOR THIS RESEACH WOULD BE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPIERIENCE THE SYSTEM FIRST HAND, OF COURSE THERE WOULD HAVE TO BE SOME WEEDING OUT.
